ROCK CASTLE 2024 – 15th – 17th of August 2024, castle park, MORAVSKÝ KRUMLOV

If Finland is known for anything other than breathtaking natural scenery, it's the quality of melodic-metal bands. And one of the best is certainly the modern band from Helsinki ARION.

They apperared as teenagers in 2013 when they won fifth place in Finland's Eurovision Song Contest qualifier for the song 'Lost', taken from their debut EP 'New Dawn'. A year later they produced 'The Last Of Us' but things didn't really take off until four years later when they signed to AFM Records and released 'Life Is Not Beautiful', a beautiful collection of symphonic power metal with a touch of hard rock, a modern Stratovarius mixed with Kissin' Dynamite. Since then, they released another, darker, more groove-oriented record in 2021, "Vultures Die Alone" and have seen their fan base grow significantly, touring with bands such as Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica, Battle Beast, and Gloryhammer.

Now ARION are back with a pair of new singles, the first, 'Wings Of Twilight', which they collaborated with the amazing Melissa Bonny of AD INFINITUM, and the second single, 'Wildfire', which is already a decent promise of a new album!
